So, where are those missing playlists?
Well, at the beginning of Britsound we simply didn't keep our playlists after we had finished the show. It wasn't until a listener called Ansgar from Germany suggested that we put playlists online, that we started to keep our records more diligently. So, what was played on those first shows is now lost in the ether...

Britsound is the only show of its kind - celebrating the best classic and new British music. Britsound airs weekly as a one hour radio program. The show is also available online as a podcast.
The show has several unique and 'exciting' features including '3 For Tea' (3 songs from a mystery year), 'Learn To Speak Proper English' (translate our cockney bloke to win top prizes), 'Britsound Song Of The Week' (err...self-explanatory) and 'The Stuff You Need To Know' (the latest in British entertainment news).
Along with the very BEST in new British music and CLASSIC British music that we all love - Britsound is the show to listen to for Anglophiles in America.
Rob Quicke and Len O'Kelly
The show is presented by award-winning radio veterans Rob Quicke and Len O'Kelly. Together Rob and Len do their best to bring you music that you'll love and news and information that will enhance your reputation with those that you work with and live with (OK, maybe that's a pork pie). You can send an email to them by emailing radio@britsound.com
If you are a radio station wanting to broadcast the show - it is free for radio stations in the U.S. For a really tiny and exceedingly reasonable monthly fee, you can get regular personalized sweepers and liners that will make your station even more superb. The show does not exceed 55 minutes in length to allow local spots/advertising. For more information please email radio@britsound.com
Cheers!
(Note: Britsound is broadcast live on WXAV 88.3 FM, on the campus of Saint Xavier University. WXAV pays performance royalties to BMI, ASCAP etc.)
